Seasonal Camping Wait List FAQs
Seasonal Campsite Wait List
Applications for the Washington County Park & Campground Seasonal Campsite Waiting List are now being accepted year-round.
Seasonal campsites are assigned through an official waiting list process in accordance with TVA guidelines and Washington County Park Authority policies.
Applicants may submit their application online at any time. Placement on the waiting list is determined by the date and time the completed application and required deposit are received.
Seasonal Camping Season
Season Dates: April 1 – October 31
All seasonal campers must commit to the full camping season. Partial-season occupancy is not permitted for seasonal sites.
Wait List Process
When a seasonal campsite becomes available, applicants will be contacted in waiting list order based on:
- Date of application
- Deposit payment received
- RV/site size compatibility
Applicants will only be contacted for campsites that properly accommodate their camping unit size.
RV Length Matching Policy
To ensure safe and proper campsite usage, applicants will only be considered for campsites within a compatible size range.
Example:
- A 30-foot campsite may be assigned to RVs between 25 and 30 feet in length.
- RVs outside the compatible range will remain on the waiting list until an appropriate site becomes available.
Applicants skipped due to site size incompatibility do not lose their position on the waiting list.
Wait List Deposit
A completed application and a $50 non-refundable deposit are required to be placed on the wait list. A deposit request will be sent within two (2) business days of application submission. Deposits are non-refundable.
If selected and assigned a seasonal campsite, the deposit will be applied toward the applicant’s first seasonal site payment.
Applications submitted without payment will not be processed.
Important Information
Please note the following:
- Only one application per camping unit/group is permitted.
- Duplicate applications will be removed.

- Applicants offered a campsite must respond within 5 business days or forfeit their waiting list position.
